I recently purchased a 1st Generation iPad with the max iOS 5.1 and I need GarageBand on it. I have GB on my iMac but it doesn't show up in the Apps selection of iTunes so I'm stuck on how to request an older version of GarageBand. ~Geary

Since the iOS and Mac versions of GarageBand are different, you'll need to purchase it in the Store section of iTunes. You can just search the store for GarageBand if you're having trouble finding it.

Hi, thanks for the quick reply...however, I think I need to reiterate, I need an 'older version' of GarageBand as I only have iOS 5.1.1 on my iPad. I need GarageBand 1.4....which isn't offered on in the Apple/iTunes store. Any idea who might have an old working link to older GBs? ~Gear
